WAPHA has published an updated, evidence-based and sector-wide overview of palliative care access and needs across WA. Key findings include challenges such as limited after-hours access, gaps in care coordination, and inconsistent approaches to anticipatory care planning.
The needs assessment also provides recommendations that will guide WAPHA‘s future planning to support the sector to strengthen capability and models of care that meet the needs of people living with life-limiting illness.
