Following sector feedback and consultation with the National Hepatitis B Clinical Standards and Accreditation Panel, ASHM has renamed this course Hepatitis B Advanced Management and Prescribing.
The updated title clearly signals its focus on advanced clinical decision-making and prescribing in general practice and aligns with growing expectations for primary care to play a stronger role in hepatitis B management.
The course will be resubmitted for endorsement under the new name for the upcoming RACGP CPD triennium, with no change to content, learning outcomes or funded training requirements.
