It’s WA Pride Month this November and a good opportunity to highlight the Transgender Health and Gender Diversity pathway available on Clinician Assist. This pathway was published in 2022.
Based on national and international guidelines, this pathway outlines the assessment, management and referral pathways to specialised services for trans, gender diverse and non-binary (TGDNB) people of all ages. The pathway provides advice on creating welcoming and inclusive clinical environments for TGDNB people, provides details on available supports for TGDNB people and their families, and outlines how to assess and manage TGDNB people of all ages. It also includes a section on professional support. Read more about the pathway development
